The American Association of Natural Wellness Practitioners (AANWP)/American Natural Wellness Practitioners Board (ANWPB) offers specialty Board Certification/Accreditation to qualified applicants. AANWP/ANWPB is an independent certifying body and is not affiliated with nor endorses any specific training, education or pre-certifying organization. AANWP/ANWPB, its members, volunteers, employees and executives are not personally liable for errors.

Board Certification is voluntary (non-governmental): If certified by the AANWP/ANWPB, recipient has testified that they have met the requirements/qualifications for certification, based on the information that was submitted on the respective AANWP/ANWPB application. These requirements pertain to education, experience and mastery of a specific subject, modality, system, etc. No certification program can guarantee professional competence nor is AANWP/ANWPB responsible for anyone’s professional abilities or skills.
Accreditation is voluntary (non-governmental): The AANWP/ANWPB Certification and Accreditation Board, and its officers and directors, are not legally responsible for the degree programs, course work, official functions or any other aspect of an AANWP/ANWPB accredited school or college. AANWP/ANWPB and its officers and directors are legally absolved of all responsibility for the success of the students enrolled in its accredited schools. Each AANWP/ANWPB accredited school is a legal entity in and of its own right. All complaints or concerns relative to the individual schools must be directed to the schools themselves. It is the responsibility of the prospective student to carefully investigate an AANWP/ANWPB accredited school before enrolling in a degree program or starting course work. AANWP/ANWPB accreditation does not guarantee that your “curriculum” will be accepted by other educational institutions or state agencies.
AANWP/ANWPB does not have the authority to validate the information provided by the applicant, by or through any third party presented in application. AANWP/ANWPB grants board certification/accreditation based on proof of identity and by documentation submitted by applicant. Applicant must testify that the information provided is true and lawful when submitting his/her application. Any recognition identified herein has been received by AANWP/ANWPB (a private organization), an entity not affiliated with or recognized by any state board of medicine nor is it federally regulated. AANWP/ANWPB does not provide any “authority” or “rights” and is not responsible for a member’s actions or for the interpretation or misinterpretation of any international, federal, provincial, state, and/or local laws. All members must consult their own local and state legislature as well as all federal and state licensing for the exact laws pertaining to their scope of practice and the practice of medicine.
The ANWPB is an examination board. It is not an educational institution. Certificates issued by the ANWPB do not confer degrees. Certification does not grant legal qualifications or licensure. Board certification simply means that the practitioner has completed the requirements set forth by the ANWPB and has succeeded in passing the board’s standardized test, which is hosted online, through a third party platform. The ANWPB neither guarantees the competence of the practitioner nor accepts liability. Board certification is not a requirement to practice.
