Frequently Asked Questions
WithOUT a Medical/State License: ANWPB “Doctor” title board certification simply means “DOCTOR AS TEACHER.” *The word doctor derives from the Latin word “docere” meaning “to teach.” This practitioner has completed the requirements set forth by the ANWPB board and has succeeded in passing the standardized exam. This designation is NOT a degree and does not grant “authority, rights nor license.” ANWPB is not responsible for a member’s actions nor interpretation – misinterpretation of any international, federal, state laws. All members must consult their own local and state legislature as well as all federal/state licensing for the laws pertaining to their scope of practice. A “Doctor” title is NOT comparable nor equivalent to a medical licensed Doctor of Medicine (M.D.).
